As an alternative to Costco - I fill at Shell.

With the td visa infinity linked to their app, they give 6% back on every gas fill.

    At 1.50, that’s 9c/l. I’ll take it.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

If you happen to drive past a Costco gas bar regularly and there is a short line is MIGHT be worthwhile. If you are going out of your way or at peak times, its NEVER worth your time.
I'm usually at Costco once or twice a week. And I don't even bother to get gas there.

I've been filling up at the TsuuTina gas bar lately. 2 cents more than costco and barely as busy.

    That seems off...

My statement said we bought 2143 litres and got back 85.71.

    It's simple mathematics!
They don't understand it, at all.
They're making money. I don't see what you don't get.
Just don't look into the economics.

You don’t get the whole portion back, you get partial shares depending on how many you already own, and as far as that goes they seem worthless.

Look at the tranches of rebates. They're based off previous year spends. So in reality, keep spending and next year will be better. Unless I'm reading it incorrectly.

Coworker truck had its gas siphoned out in the middle of the day yesterday. Truck was parked on his driveway and was caught on the neighbors house camera.
