Im starting to wonder if i can somehow justify in my brain spending money on a motorcycle this spring, to somehow offset the cost of paying for fuel in my truck lol. Spend 10k plus on a bike to "save fuel" or just keep on truckin

I was actually surprised how shitty fuel economy was on our 1.6L Miata. Thought something was wrong, looked it up, sure enough it’s got worse fuel economy than our Sienna and even my E53 AMG lol. I think I averaged around 10L/100km on it as a rough guess on highway trips. City driving was around 12L/100km.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Odd, my supercharged 1.6 Miata was usually on the 9-11 range in the city. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
24mpg is the official EPA average, 9.8L/100km. That’s mix highway and city, a little better than what I saw, but I drive that car hard. Well, as hard as you can drive a Miata lol. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Modern cars are just so much more efficient, and of course I’m comparing with 2 hybrid which makes the comparison way worse.

Soon everyone will be getting standalone ecu's not for power but for fuel economy with their dyno tune.
@Yolobimmer , you dyno tune anyone for economy yet?
