Yeah my neighbour has a software dev job in Mississauga and was entirely WFH. The company told them back in office so he ended up having to move there solo as his daughter is in grade 10 now and didn't want to move and he didn't want to quit. All those remote gigs are now RTO and if you don't move, then so long.

Considering the amount of garbage Apple, Microsoft and Google are spewing out these days, the effects are starting to be known. Like fuck, the only real differences between the iPhone 12, 13 and 14 are colours. And iOS is shittier and shittier. Ever notice that you can't cancel an incoming call from the lock screen? And that if you unlock the screen, you still can't?

Just hit the volume or power button to cancel. This is better than using a touch screen because you can cancel the call while in your pocket, without every having to look at the screen.

Yeah I see what you’re saying. But I don’t think people realize the contract doesn’t mean much - like it doesn’t specifically say the work rotation won’t change. It just says what it currently is, subject to change. It has to say specifically it won’t change, not the other way around.
