Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
That is a very nice gift.
I've returned a diamond ring after almost 2 years cause the wife only wore it a couple of times and didn't like it. They had to send it back for appraisal and we got the refund in about a week. Also returned unused books of stampede bucks but clothes is probably the most common item we return but only if there's something wrong or it doesn't fit and I've never returned anything that has been worn/washed several times already. Never returned food.
We do this as well for various items when they go on sale that make good gifts. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I returned a 3ton jack a little over a year after I bought it because it started to leak past the valve. They didn't have the exact one I could exchange it for so they returned it and I went and bought a new one. Besides that the only thing I ever return is clothes; I buy a couple of sizes to try on at home then return the ones that don't fit with the tags on them.

The one thing I noticed is, any product sold by Costco, if you have issues with it and you contact the manufacturer, since you bought it at Costco, the manufactuer will usually send you whatever you need to make sure your satisfied and happy with the purchase again thus not needing to return it back to Costco

That's because Costco doesn't pay the cost of returns, they charge all that back to the manufacturer. They are ruthless

Samsung will tell you to pound sand and deal with Costco.
So will tire manufacturers.
My dad had issues with both of these things. Costco replaced the TV, but he just got a replacement tire from a local shop

What happens? Some retention dept talking you into keeping the item?
When you return something to Costco, they just bill it back to the manufacturer - less the floor fees/ consignment fees, or whatever. It would be much cheaper for the manufacturer to address your concern directly, than it would be to simply get a charge back from Costco. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Sounds like my new plan should be to buy outfits from Costco, wear them for a few months with the tags and then swap them all out. Seems cheaper than buying new clothes
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
I end up returning a lot of clothes to Costco. No real ability to try things on in warehouse so it goes back if it doesn't fit.
Also returned an Apple Pencil that was DOA and just bought a new one right away as they don't offer exchanges.
I returned my Pac-Man Arcade 1up Christmas gift from wife simply because I wanted the Street Fighter cabinet instead (wife didn't know there are tons of different Arcade 1Ups). Costco only sold Pac-Man at the time, otherwise I would have been happy to exchange it there. I never opened the box so the return was hassle free. People were giving me looks like "You're returning your very own arcade machine? Are you high?!?!".
Didn't last a lifetime. Unfortunately. LolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
