ES doesn't have a consistent spot. I'm still mostly down south at our shop. Today I'm in Chinatown at the $9 lot on 3rd ave and MacLeod behind dragon city mall.
I gave up my CPA Flexpass for James Short when I realized I was using like 2-3 days per month. I should probably just ride the bus and save the planet, but that's seven bucks or something a day.

I really should get a job that includes parking. Ahhhh, those were the days.

Ooooooohhhhhh…now I gotcha! Looks like Suncor employees and contractors get 20% off at Park & Jet and Park2Go.

I was a fan of Park2Go when my company had a deal with them.

It's a bit further out, but when I used to work at SEC (right next to TCT) I parked at CPA Lot 55 in east village.

It's a nice 15m walk in, or if needed I just walked to city hall station and took the train 1 stop (free fare zone). Price has gone up a bit since then, used to be $155 and now it's $190 per month. Was also convenient during stampede week because we'd just park there and walk to the grounds.

If you guys have a hybrid work schedule maybe check out the ParkChamp app. Their daily rates are not too bad.

$22.58 isn't bad for downtown heated parking. I was paying $20/day at the bow for early bird prices pre-pandiddy

Plus cheaper gas prices at the pump too. They get some decent benefits if you look through all the perks.

Park & Jet wouldn't be a perk even if it was free

Following up on this, made use of the ParkChamp app this weekend for downtown parking for Folk Festival. Parked in Millennium Tower (formerly E&Y) for $6 for the day. Smartphone to open gates and doors worked fine. A little tricky in the elevator since the phone has no signal unless the door is open, but we figured it out. There were other folkies using that parkade at the same time.

Weekdays are obviously more expensive. Seems like very little savings over normal rates, but you do get access to places that aren't normally open to the public. Cheapest over near Eau Claire, guess that end of town is not busy these days.

Looks like ParkChamp is getting to be more prevalent. Anyone have experience using it on the daily? Just sends me a daily bill based on my plate? Trying to figure it out.

Few of the lots I am looking at seem to be exclusively park champ now, anyone know if they have a workaround for monthly parking? Or is that reserved for building tenants?

I use park champ daily. You don't have to be a tenant to get monthly parking but you might have to call to set that up versus just using the app for daily parking, I'm not toally sure though. Essentially you download the app and register your plate then when you drive it in picks up that its you and initiates your parking, then you just drive out and it will end the session and send you an email with the receipt. You should also get monthly statments. Its actually a surprisingly smooth system until your license plate is dirty in the spring then leaving is a bit annoying but for the other 80% of the year it works great. I have both my vehicle and my wife's vehicle on the same account and we can both park in the same lot and it will register them separate and I get two separate receipts.

EDIT: their support number works great too if you're having any issues like the gate not opening or something.

We have Parkchamp in our building, and their system is a pain in the ass as it only works half the time. Its one where you drive up, and the camera is supposed to read your plate and open the door, except half the time it doesnt... and same goes for when leaving the parkade. Thankfully I kept my access card that opens the gate or I would have lost my mind. Used the help desk many many times and they cant figure out why it doesnt pick up my plate. Nothing blocking it and its a white plate on a dark colored vehicle.
