Not saying I'm dating them just a general observation. Not saying all women either but becoming more common to want to look like an Instagram filter. Girls in their early 20's getting lip injections, botox etc. It's messed . Worn out by 30.

It's worse on Instagram I think. The visual filters are so complex on there, so many women look like models but in real life are probably fairly homely. Yet, I still check it out regularly because... damn.

I know it's an obvious troll, but IMO TikTok is the most powerful social media platform in existence.

They draw people in with hot girls, but if you stay around long enough you'll find yourself consuming valuable information and finding far more relevant information than any other media outlet. Their algorithm is by far the best in the game and it shows.

What wallstreetbets did for "consumer" investing via Gamestop etc. TikTok has achieved on everything we do without people recognizing it. Top 20 Songs, likely from TikTok. Top Products on Amazon, Tiktok. Top trending fashion, TikTok. Revival of shows, TikTok. Whether you like it or not I'd rather understand it than knock it because with the pace that stuff moves together you can move with it or be left behind.

To push that further, if you are in content creation or run any sort of business and aren't using TikTok (or any short form video like Reels or YT Shorts) than you are missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime. Organic reach for free? Good luck getting that on an Instagram post for your business.

That's my 02 cents though.
