I'm talking about the reason that >90% of people vote. The parties pick and run with a leader because they know that the voters don't care if their MLA is a registered sex offender, they are voting for the values of the party, carried forward by the leader whose face is plastered everywhere.
When that leader is switched out, the voters don't like it.
