Default Difference between 4th gen and 5th gen prelude exhaust manifold

Hey, just wondering if any of you know if there are differences between the exhaust manifold of 4th gen and 5th gen preludes. I'm not sure but I've seen somewhere that the only difference is that there's an extra hole for a second O2 sensor for the OBD2 systems. Right? Wrong? Let me know.

Essentially, I'm wondering if a header from a 97 h22a will fit on a 94 h22a. (i.e. do the exhaust ports line up)

    Thanks for the help.

I'm doing a h22a swap in a ek hatch. Will the difference in the down pipe be a significant problem for clearance and/or connection? I remember the downpipes have a flexible section...will this help make it "fit"?

    Thanks shadowz

It could be , but I do believe you need to modify the downpipe to make it fit to the EK exhaust system

yea, yea., Andrew, Turbo's coming...soon...I promise. =) Let me just see if the damn engine will fit properly in that tiny bay first! Must get A/C to work! =) I am NOT living through a Calgary summer without A/C! I REFUSE! Say, know anyone who's got a turbo on their h22 ek civic?

Actually Civic engine bays have more room than Prelude engine bays.

Nelson aka boost =drughad an h22a with a full race style manifold in his EK. Didn't have a/c though. His car is in one of the older superstreet issues I believe. Also, go check out honda-tech.com man, tons of guys have swaps into their EK's with turbo setups.

Pfffff...A/C. Just leave the windows down and don't slow down . And no I don't know anyone w/ a H22 civic at all. You better get those rotas soon too with some sticky rubber, or you'll have no problem spinning in third gear I'm sure. Unless you want that

Really? Didn't know there was more room in a civic than a prelude! Cool! So this damn thing WILL fit! If I told you why I thought it wouldn't fit, most of you would kill me so I won't =)
And no, it's not because of A/C and P/S.

And Andrew, I'm a fat slob and need to A/C to cool off my fat sweaty ass! =)

As to Rotas, nah, I wanna keep it looking nice and stock...I'm even planning to put the "CX" back on the hatch to give it the authentic theme... =) ...also I don't have much money left...gotta get the Nitrous installed after the engine is in and make the hidaway box for the bottle in the trunk.
