Ya your gates are niccce. Might take you up on that to rip the track hawk, I’ll just line backer the fence haha.. worth a sore shoulder.

My BIL took all his boards off and re nailed them cause he was so particular haha.. I thought about that after mine would almost be worth just laying the boards out in the sun, but then you’re exposing yourself having some nasty warped boards too…
HAHAHAHA!!! I still think my fence would win, she's solid. Every panel has 2x6 top and bottom stringers and a 2x4 middle stringer and top plate. Although, you're pretty solid, you may snap the 4x4 posts clean off!

I laid out and dried all of my fence boards before building it in order to minimize gaps. My back fence along the alley, I did the same as your BIL, even after drying them they shrunk a bit more so I removed them and slid them all over to make it tight.

Is the ground thawed enough to start a fence? We've been waiting for winter to end. lol.

I have probably 100ft of fence to build. But based on what you guys are saying, I can't just put the post in, pour in 2 bags of drymix and hose it down eh? Have to mix it? haha

    That's what I do. Hasn't failed yet.
I run the hose as I pour the concrete in to cut down on dust and have it hydrated a little better. I'll still do a little bit of mixing once its all in the hole though.

ok, This is what I do when I build a fence, easiest and saves time and money.

    1) find your property line, and run a string line down it. Every 8 feet, make a mark. This is where your fence post will be.
    2) Call "call before you dig. They come out and mark out all the utilities that are buried.
    3) once you have your report for utilities, bring in a bobcat with a 12" auger to dig all your post holes down 48"
    4) dont bother with gravel or 4x4 posts. Posts should be 4x6 at minimum, 6x6 preferred. 4x4 twist like corkscrews in a short period of time and will pull the fence apart.
    5) I get 30kg bags of the yellow quickcrete. Rent a concrete mixer from Home Depot. Set your 2 end posts first. Once they are plumb, brace them. Use 2 bags of concrete per post.
    6) run the string line across the top of the 2 end posts and get it taught. put the remaining posts in. Each post should be plumb and just touching the string line. This keeps things nice and square and straight.
    7) once the concrete sets around the post, start framing and build your choice of design.
    8) ????
    9) Profit.

Your fence building algorithm is fucked because it doesnt identify when or how many beer breaks are involved. Unless you are running a beer camel pack, in which case I approve of said plan.

    Beer “break”

I dunno about a camel but do the beers ever really stop flowing when building a fence?

I thought I had the hang of this because I just finished sending my spare butler to a fencing camp to learn how to do it while I drank beer...

An ice cold Rona after finishing a fence/deck/sod is literally the best. Then another ice cold shower beer after.

I love doing yard work and I love beer.

Imagine how baller that fence would be.

    6X6 posts.

    Composite deck boards.

    Built in wifi LED lights.

    WiFi repeaters.

200 amp service to receptacles on every post.

    360 cameras on every post.

    Water softeners on each side.

    Dual propane/electric heaters.

    Trackhawk logos.

    Ecoboost engines to open/close gates.
