Haven't seen Quiznos in years, thought they were already gone. Firehouse sounds nice, hope they expand to the city. I like sandwiches.

This is very true. Car forum people hate looking for an excuse to go for a drive. Especially one as egregiously far as 29 entire minutes from Brookfield Place downtown.
Why, just the other day, I drove Cowboy Trail out to Blairmore so I could try out a wood-fired hot tub in a cabin shaped like a pirate ship. I'm doing things wrong.
And let's face it, someone already mentioned that this place isn't as good as Eight, so why bother? Am I to believe we're supposed to consume sandwiches without Tuscan wine pairings after a drive that is likely 15% longer than our morning commutes?!?!

The little drive through on macleod just south of 50th does great vietnamse subs, and they are cheap ($6-7)

Dont bother with the drive. It's not that good.

It's very fast-food in its ingredients and flavor.

Been there recently, inflation must have lowered their supplier quality. Definitely not as good as they 1st opened.

I don't think Peppino's has toasted sandwiches, so it's a tough comparison ignoring the fact that one is an Italian deli complete with angry service and exactly one (1) tiny napkin allocated to you while the other is a fast food chain...
