If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

The friends I have that I would trust to do business with or buy a house together with don’t need help buying a house because they take care of their careers and finances.

Same but were also living in a city where you can still buy a place on your own or with your wife/gf, unless you're making big money or have rich parents theres no way you're buying a house on your own out in van or to

If people can't/aren't buying houses, then how are they maintaining pricing so as to be unaffordable?

I don't like any of my friends enough to live with them, nevermind buy a house with them.

Others keep telling me that I'm not allowed to own people, so how could I purchase a house that came with friends included?!

Buy a place near the university. Charge below average rent for rooms.

Heed the warnings of the divorce thread. Also condoms.

Depends on the friend. A couple of my past roommates I’d consider since living together was already fine, especially if it’s a house with a basement suite. But I wouldn’t blindly just buy a house with friends I’ve never lived with, that sounds like a terrible plan.

We should have a Beyond house where members can do anything.
