I never paid much attention to these clubs, because they always struck me as lame.

I'm now convinced that they are going to be history and sooner than we think.

They gave him the ol' "You better get in now - I can't hold these prices any longer!"

For $67k, I would hope they would serve whatever beer a guy wanted.
That's the social membership. I think the "serve any beer I want" is in the 120k range.
I can eat more hot wings than you.

So how old will Brad be by the time they take the membership training wheels off?

12 years is… a lifetime for some people.

    That’s me. Super confuzzled…

The Glencoe Club’s current Social and House waitlists are such that there is an approximately 12 years wait to move into Active membership status.
Maybe you aren’t on the email list yet lol

That's just marketing, man. Make it seem exclusive. "Yeah, waitlist is 12 years long but for you...iiiiii think we can make something happen - thanks for the 67k enjoy your coors light!"

You’re quoting info about the downtown club, not the golf course.

The golf course doesn’t have a wait list, social membership, etc. You either are a member, or you’re not.

He’ll have his downtown club training wheels on for a while still though

This is miss information as well.

Both memberships now have waiting lists.

Both memberships have increased their fees.

The downtown club was never a topic nor of any interest.

If you are up for a round this season let me know, I haven’t played Pinebrook in years.

My only experience at Glencoe was back in the 90s getting invited to a curling development camp run by CODA/Curling Canada after we won under 16 provincials & AB Winter Games.

On a break, we hit the pro shop and noticed nothing had prices. Old lady told us that if we have to ask how much something is we couldn't afford it.

It was then that I realized I was a poor.

I've never played golf there obviously, but it sounds like all of the worst parts of golf, and none of the best.
