I was always concerned with a clear and defrosted windshield when cooler temperatures are inevitable.

I suppose you could just use the sleeve of your hoody to wipe the fog though! haha

Malibu had no heater core, got caught once where it was a bad time haha.
    Lemans kept its heat.

Congrats on getting it together and moving! MoM should be a blast.

MoM starts Sunday? Ah, you still have enough time to bash a nitrous kit into it.

Rainx on the windshield, fogx on the inside. Ain't my first rodeo Tshirt on a stick is the fallback for inside fog, but can't get foggy inside with the t-tops down right?!

Sentry, I am moving tomorrow in Edmonton, so I really only have today and Saturday. Gotta drive down to Medicine Hat Sunday and it'd be sweet to get a couple passes in. Rather have an issue there and call it versus getting halfway to Saskatoon on Monday afternoon.

But yes, if my highway spin in about 45 minutes checks out, I may try to slap the turbski in.

That one looks much nicer then mine, but I appreciate the thought

Gah, the car gets hot on long drives. Might have to take donjuan up on his offer if I can't get anything else figured out.

I didnt really "properly" bleed the system, could be a ton of air and I have no overflow which could have messed with things.

I'm cutting the front bumper apart as the 4th gen is just a solid slab bumper beam, zero airflow through the entire bumper. Going to open the entire thing up.

Have a bad vibration from 2000-2400 rpm. My dad says its missing, but I dont know why its smooth below and above that. I'm going to probably do the seppuku if the torque converter is shot as I specifically didn't put the other one in.

I'm a pro at pulling the trans, but god damn transmission fluid, I hate it!

Weren't you planning to run it on E85? Start running it on it now and see if it runs cooler, I bet it will.

    Its freeeeeeee

Switching to E85 is almost guaranteed it will run cooler. Where do you get E85 here?

Could always run the heater on full blast to help cool the car.

I solved my high temp issues by not running a temp gauge, it’s not the best solution but seems to work

I don't know domestics that well but there could be a good chance it's air locked in the rad or only using a partial rad.

I'd use one of these types of kits and do a full warm up and cool down and see if you can get it to burp out.

Decapped injectors stuck open and flooded crankcase. Scrambled to find a new set, but idle psi was only 5psi when I noticed.

Drained oil, just checking oil pressure with mechanical gauge and new oil. Swapping torque converter tonight if vibration at 2200rpm does'nt go away.

    It's thrash time baby!

I have an extra set of dual Altima fans if you want. They were too big for my car.

Low 4.5 amp draw, high 7.5 amp draw +/- 10%. Low 974 cfm each, high is 1420 cfm per fan. I dunno if that's enough for your setup tho.
@DonJuan you around? I need those fans lol

Inhave a set of vr6 duals lined up but I like free.

Got a Genesis 3.8 fan, works great.

Stabbed a hole in the rad because Im an idiot. Learned to aluminum braze today.

Tons of other fiddly shit. Hit the road, ran out of fuel 5 minutes from home I think (did a pull, went super lean, pump doesn't sound right).

Have 20L of fuel on the way lol

    Definitely ran out of fuel.

But now the drivers side bank of injectors doesn't seem to want to fire.

    Situation was:

    Cruising at 85km/h
    Pulled up to stop sign
Did a decent pull 1st/2nd/lost fuel pressure and car started sputtering
    Pulled over
    Got fuel
Buddy confirmed nadda coming out of bumper exit on driver side, lots of firepower coming out the passenger
Reuploaded software, whack injectors with a crescent, raised fuel pressure, no dice
Occassionally drivers side bank would come to life
Finally towed it the 5 minutes home. Pulled first 2 plugs on driver's side, bone dry confirming no fuel (should be just hosed with fuel from all the cranking I'd think).

Hail mary shot, I have two guys lined up (one in devon, one in millet). If I can get 4 injectors and swap them out, see what happens.

No time for wiring diagnostic shenanigans, but all the grounds the terminator X requires are good. She's fed power directly from the battery as required, wiring is perfect.

So unless the driver side bank of injector wiring harness got f'd somehow, I can't see the wiring being the problem. I have heard old injectors left in the air and dirt can jam up pretty easy.

My first guess would be wiring since one bank is working and the other isn’t. But some quick testing with the multimeter would confirm fairly quickly. I don’t think the Holley allows output testing the same way you can on a Megasquirt but if it does, that’s an even easier way to check.

The wiring hasn't been touched at all is the weird thing, its ran above the intake and really no work has been done that could damage it.

I'm told a camshaft position sensor could cause these issues, the intake will have to come off. Normally not an issue, but on a 4th gen, its a pain.

I'll be checking rhe 12v to all the injectors first thing along with the grounding through the ecu. Just super strange it stopped working at the same time I ran out of fuel.

    No output testing
