Default Help w/ finding RR/TWP dominion land survey coordinate parcels on website

    Hey all,

I'm sure you guys have a better way of doing this. When I am searching for a coordinate address I used to use the arcgis website:

    https://www.arcgis.com/apps/mapviewe...49a885b9860e8e

    Alberta Township Grid ATS 2020

so try to find something like NW-10-10-W4M for example but I seem to have gone full retard and can't seem to locate the layer or view it on the above site.

Is there a better site for this or some tip on how to accomplish this? +Reps for assistance, -Reps for non-assist

    https://www.gridatlas.com/map/places ?

Are you just trying to locate things via LSD? because that site will get you there and you can click the link to google maps so its better. Obviously Doesn't have any parcel information or anything like that though, just physical location.

This is from a site I have access to called abadata. Easier to use than Spin2, but not much.

I use ArcGIS Pro on my computer. After playing around with the website, it works in the same way. You have to add an ATS layer to it, or you're stuck using ESRI layers.

Anyone know of a bulk method if you had 50 locations that need lat and long?
I suspect I could program something to loop in that scadalink site above.

Anyone who complains about the output of coop students is admitting to being a brutal manager and/or a very poorly run company. You won't change my mind.

Honestly if a coop student shadows your meetings for 4 months I consider that a success

Import point info to CAD or ArcGIS. Add coordinate system, Georef, point style label to lat/long or coordinate label. Take rest of day off.

Probably could have just looked them up in the amount of time it took to set that up lol

I'll talk to our GIS group. I actually have neither of those software packages. Company definitely won't provision to me.

My work around is fake it via accumap shapefiles joined to accumap data. Display with Tableau.
