The no gutters idea sounds good, but I imagine the overhang would have to be long enough that it would block a significant amount of light from coming in.

Enough property to have an indoor rink, batting cage, driving range (virtual I guess) and an outdoor ball diamond. I don't care much about the house, wouldn't be in there very often. Like a lot of things it's not the cost of acquisition that's the issue, it's the ongoing operating expenses that stop me in my tracks (especially the indoor rink).
