Buy one from the Fairmont store. When it comes to good quality, long lasting bedding, they know what they’re doing. The pillows are great as well.

Expect to replace more often. They're super comfy new, but they lose their support surprisingly quickly, after 2 or so years. I was ok with it, cuz I loved the sink in feeling but it becomes terrible for sex. The replacement I got lasted way longer before it started losing support. It's overpriced as hell as well.

Looks like Fairmont switched to Sealy a couple years back, wonder if they're any better.

The Signature bed is a Stearns and Foster.

I always assume that most people who buy a mattress need to get it delivered. So a return also requires a delivery service. Don't think that's any different than anywhere else, just don't think Costco makes that any simpler.

It could be conceivably better. But I would think in general hotel mattresses aren't designed for longevity.

As someone else mentioned the fancier option is a Stearns and Foster, the normal one is a Sealy. We just got ours within the last year but we also got an 80% discount so I replaced every mattress in the house. Two twins, a double and a queen mattress all Stearns and Foster for $2200 (regular price for a Queen is $2500 for comparison). We’ve had their pillows for many years now and they’re still great.

I can’t see how this would make logical sense for a luxury hotel.
