    Confirmed
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Well this should be interesting. Though I imagine it’ll get settled behind closed doors.

    I like estoppel
The doctrine of estoppel. The basic concept of an estoppel is that where a person (A) has caused another (B) to act on the basis of a particular state of affairs, A is prevented from going back on the words or conduct which led B to act on that basis, if certain conditions are satisfied.

Promisory estoppel is my favourite asset class legal principle.

lol, that is the least Legal and most needlessly seething letter I've ever read.

I expected it to be written by some woke Twitter who hadn't yet glued their hands to the asphalt of some Interestate but it was, in fact, written by a real lawyer: https://www.kusklaw.com/akiva-cohen

    Wild.

Edit: I'd love if Musk came back with the argument that they didn't actually work at Twitter.

There are lots of shit lawyers. Regardless, guaranteed they looked high and low for an ambulance chaser, and boy did they ever pick one based on that text.

And every statement of claim from a lawyer makes it sound like you will lose if it goes to court and gee wouldn't it be a great idea to just pay up.

If you ever read the briefs from twitter vs Musk Delaware case it was written the same way. And that was by a super high profile legal team. I've only seen shit written like this when its' vs Musk.

I was in a meeting with the junior corporate lawyer of a multi-billion company a few months ago.

    She asked:

    "What's a login screen?"

Law school is kind of a joke. My brother just graduated and after seeing how easy it was, I thought about going too.

The hardest part of Canadian law schools is getting in.

In the US, there is no issue, you just pay a lot more.

The only reason Canadian lawyers make so much is because they severely limit admissions. The year my brother got accepted, only 1 in 12 applicants was accepted, and they aren't expanding classroom space.

Beware the passive aggressive Mean Girls. Vengie, Killramos, Penismightier, buster, jrscoolude, etc who bully others into their circle jerk opinion, serially negging you, while claiming they ignore you and don't obsess over you.

PSA. High school is not a popularity contest little girls

That letter was very unprofessionally written and seems to be obviously an open letter.

It's funny seeing Musk have everyone by the balls now that he owns all the receipts for the illegal shit the left has been up to. They kept screwing with him and trying to smear him, so he decided to say fuck it and release the files on how they conspired to hide the Hunter Biden laptop story, one of the many ways to swing the federal election.

Turns out Musk uncovered some ex-FBI lawyer working at Twitter, who was trying to sabotage the release of the information, so he got canned today.
