Default Completions / Drilling Eng Question - Frac Tank Liner Disposal Costs

Short and sweet question - anyone in here with drilling / completions experience have any idea what you pay to dispose of frac tank liners? I have absolutely no idea but something came up where I could use the info, and all my friends are res / production eng and im a lowly facilities monkey.

    Any insight would be appreciated!

Also I hope this is in the right sub forum... I wasnt sure where to post it, sorry in advance mods

Depending on size $4000-5000 is a good budgeting number.

EDIT: Thats just for the actual disposal line item. As part of your overall demob fee there will be trucking and labor associated with tearing it down, bundling it up, loading it, and transporting it but as that's part of the overall process of using a c-ring we always just focus on the disposal fee.

Thanks for the info! Yeah i'd definitely be curious what the trucking and all associated demob costs would be too. Appreciate your response!

Get that as an all-in-one service from whoever is providing the c-ring. Profit?

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Use $8k as a whole round number just for costs associated with the liner (skid steer, labour, trucking, disposal).

I assume you aren't actually renting a c-ring so the set up and tear down of the actual unit don't matter, and you just care about the tear down and handling of the liner?

Could always make friendly with farmers and offer to line a duggout for swimming for them if its fresh water.

Ah those are good points. I'm curious on the total costs a producer has to pay to get rid of it, to see if I can offer a better deal.

Would you have any idea what a frac liner might weigh? I know thats probably a pretty obscure question haha
