    Default Shipping a transmission

    hey guys,

    im parting out my vehicle and a buyer in the states wants the manual transmission and driveshaft. Has anyone done this before? whats the best cost effective way to get it out to him?

    Pallet, wrap it up, slap a sticker on it.

    I bought a transaxle transmission from someone in Ontario once.
    It fit into a Rubbermaid box that he screwed the edges of the top down.
    Then axles came in different box.
    Shipping via greyhound. Unsure if that's still a thing.

    You could try uShip. Once you get the contact info of a trucker, send it to me so I can skip the uShip fee and book fares direct lol.

    But yea, finding a truck that does that route regularly might be the cheapest way. Otherwise you pay for all the middle-manning to arrange it.
