    Default Can't load music to my new iPhone | iTunes Match Root cause?

    Finally got a new iPhone, yet can't load my music onto my iPhone like I could on my XS 512

    * iTunes managed, on a Win10 PC
    * Recently subscribed to iTunes Match (I think about 18 months ago, after my XS, and before my Pro 12)
    * Want my music on my iPhone, not cloud based
    * I don't want Apple Music, and am thinking iTunes Match is the root cause here; (iTunes Match wants my music to be natively virtualized?)
    * I do like iTunes Match for cloud based music access, for my iPad & Apple TV
    * I've talked to a few Apple reps (text/phone) and am awaiting a call back from a Senior Advisor (second time for this, where I'll likely repeat the story all over again)

    Anyone know how to resolve? TIA

    iTunes Match puts your music in the cloud. On your phone make sure you’ve turned on sync library in settings -> music. Then just download whatever you choose to your phone. Select your music and click the down arrow to download.

    The other option if you don’t want to manually choose what to download to your phone, plug it into your pc, let it sync music. You need to disable sync library option for that to work iirc.

    It is.

    Ahh, thanks for this. Although tedious.

    Fuck yes. Turned off "sync library", and that looks like it did it. Thank you
