If a law abiding citizen would not have bought that gun in order for it to be stolen, none of this would have happened. Completely the fault of the person who was allowed to buy it legally.

Cops, as an entity, want money. Obviously some individual employees have good and altruistic motives but the organization as a whole, through every municipality, is primarily concerned about money.
