Government market distortions sure do distort the market. I guess that means they are working?

Same with Model Y Performance.
Sure by allowing Elon to sell us Model Y for $69K while it only cost the Chinese $61k. Both made in Shanghai. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Blazer EV coming in at $10K more than originally promised.
Both were originally priced at $53K and $63KFinalized pricing puts the 2LT AWD at CDN$63,298, though that’s after dealer and A/C fees (unlike the numbers later in this article) and before any incentives; the RS AWD is priced at CDN$73,298
Nice to see GM starting to deliver more of their Ultium platform. It's a shame the L3 charging only goes 'upto 190kW' which means in reality you'll usually get 100-120kW as it depends on the L3 charger specs. I do like the look of the Blazer though.
Hopefully they reboot the Bolt EV on the new platform as well at a much more reasonable cost.

I'll bite on one if they start offering discounts & drop the financing rates to move inventory at year end, lol. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

They are having major issue with battery manufacturing. Only 3000 Ultium EV has been delivered in 2023. Every pack in hand built due to tooling issues. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Meanwhile Ford moved 30k, and Tesla moved 300k.
I failed to see how GM can scale up fast enough to meet demand, at prices higher than Tesla's AND on a battery chemistry that's on the tail end of the life span.
Ford price match Tesla on the lower 2 trims. Took out a $9.2B loan from US gov and losing $3B/year on EVs. Good luck getting more discounts. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

EV conversions are the worst of many options.
Anyone here considering the VW Buzz? Do they have a waitlist going at the dealerships? or just have to wait until online pre-order opens.
It looks great and I want one so bad but probably can't justify. Dealers are taking names as their own lists but that's it as far as I know. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
At close to 30% less efficient than a Ioniq 5, I just can't see taking this outside of city being fun. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think that VW thing looks amazing and will sell like hot cakes. If it has shit range, that MAY be an issue, but range is something everyone thinks they need, but in 95% of cases, it's not a "need".
2023 EV6 LONG RANGE GT-LINE 2
Drove it for about 2 weeks now, put about 1500k on it. Not my car, just taking it for fun
Range is decent, I drive about 40k each way to work so range could be an issue. I dont have a level 2 charger at home so the level 1 over night would give me like 40k range. Good thing I can charge at work so it's less of a problem.
Not having to gas up is kinda cool, i find myself looking at gas prices but not giving a shit is definitely a plus.
I'm just not sure if it's a 60-70k car... for that price, there a better ICE options and the savings is not there for the 5-7 years that people usually hold onto their cars...
