Apple car no more.
I literally didn't know they were working on that. Did they ever get to hardware work or was it all software still?

But given they bring nothing on the table, NA is cool on EVs and China got too many competitors as it is, it's hard to see why Apple wants in on this.

Apples problem was less about trying to make an EV but moreso trying to focus on going straight to fully autonomous vehicles. That’s always going to be a big leap with lots of issues and the Tesla self driving issues have also pushed more regulatory concerns into the spotlight too. Probably too big of liability to pursue.
$200/year tax proposed on EVs registered in Alberta stating in 2025.
We should do that for all cars and drop the gas tax once and for all
Rules that only apply to some situations and not others are bad rules.

They will def charge $200/car AND keep the gas tax too.
AB tax is about 8% and average user do like $3k/year, so $200 is still cheaper than gas.

Can you change your registration so the "fuel" column says 'coal'?

Lol Fisker.
Road tax should be per weight of the vehicle. It shouldn’t matter how oil and coal power the gasoline, diesel or electric vehicle.
What about the gross weight of the driver / owner? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
