    2001 Jetta TDI:

    1: 19x8" Axis Neos (Thanks Bob@CMS)
    2. 225/35" Falken FK tires(Thanks Altezza)
    3. FK Suspension Hightek Kit (35/40mm drop)
I had done all my research, stock piled these items over the winter, and was going nuts waiting for weather to get good so I could install.
Suspension + Wheels went on together. I did the suspension install at home.

Immediately after install (before it settled):

    87 Integra LS. Mugen sticker.

Physical modification? 91 Mazda 323 hatchback. Replaced muffler with a Canadian tire resonator.

Between that I tinted my own windows. Drove around years with thousands of bubbles lol.

1998 Ford Escort ZX2. Tokico shocks with lowering springs, swapped the rear drums for discs and painted the wheels dark grey.

Pulled the rear quarter windows out of my '93 Hyundai Excel so it was sorta like a convertible. Also added fog lights and tint and a very large sub box.

All of that made it faster. I didn't start with the stickers until maybe 2 years later.

Can't remember which came first but it was either a red Momo shift boot, or a horrible Momo shift knob held on with grub screws. I should have been focused on gas tank replacement/repair right away.

I got this Civic when I was 18 and has just started my first full time job, but was living with my parents so could easily afford the GReddy turbo kit for the D16. It was very cheap for what it was, got it from Titan Racing for 1500 USD. (Yeah Titan the Supra guys, I guess they were a Greddy dealer.)

    Good thread idea.

I built a 360 small block Dodge engine at 15 with plans to put it in an A body Dodge of some sort. If I recall correctly the engine had Keith Black 9.5-1 hypereutectic pistons, some sort of bigger camshaft, home ported cast iron cylinder heads, edelbrock intake manifold and a Demon carburetor. Davenport did the block machine work and I assembled the engine in the garage using a “How to rebuild a small block Dodge” book.

Once the engine was built I found a slant six ‘71 Duster for $800 and replaced quarter panels and painted it in high school Autobody class. Swapped in the engine, a 727 transmission, and an 8 3/4” rear differential and was driving it in grade 12.

Hard to believe I paid for everything myself while working at a gas station and or Mr. Lube part time through high school. I should try and find some old pics of the engine.

    ^That's awesome.

My first mods on my '91 Accord in high school - Ractive 4" muffler (that I hacked off something at the auto wrecker), and some fancy panasonic deck, 2-12" subs and a 1600w amp.

86 Ford Tempo. Slapped an N badge on it and created the Tempon. Or maybe it was the beaded seat cover

Modifying the lettering on your car is a classis. My brother did the detective work to figure out that the letters from a Parisienne could be adjusted to say penis. He put that on a ford Fairmont. I laughed like the juvenile I was.
