These laws are a pos …the only part I agree with is domestic Violence losing their license.

The rest is pure BS…. It will do nothing to solve gun crime

More pandering, fear mongering, boogeyman and divide and conquer without addressing the real issues behind gun violence. This will do absolutely nothing except criminalize honest, hard working canadians. It is honestly ridiculars.

    Meanwhile, opiod deaths running rampant...

You clearly have zero understanding of the current laws regarding handguns.

Also, you cant be so naïve that you actually think legal gun owners are the ones committing the vast number of gun crime, right? Do you think that 9000km invisible border between Canada and the US is impermeable to weapons smuggling?

This law is BS and does nothing but create gov't paperwork and hold back people wanting guns.

Violence with guns will not change until they actually punish criminals.
I suggest removal of a hand. Seems to limit reload time I suspect. Second gun offence, removal of second hand. Problem solved.

    Don't bother engaging Thaco.
He's the love child of Notley, Nenshi, Trudeau and Thunberg.

This law is another grandstanding miss on the true root of the problems.

The mental illnesses of the liberal ndp and its supporters is unfortunately spreading into laws. That is dangerous.

I think stricter licensing and renewal requirements would be more effective than any kind of prohibition on guns.

Not surprisingly, magazine capacity limits I'm okay with. Like you, I can get behind the red-flag laws too.

So pretty much things that already exist. Strict licensing and renewal standards exist, magazine capacity limits exist and anyone can call the RCMP at any time to report a concern that will pretty much guarantee a license suspension and seizure. And that's if the automated continuous eligibility system doesn't flag someone before it can be reported to the court or the CFP.

But hey, saying legal owners can't buy or sell handguns and businesses having to curtail their operations because they can't sell or import them will stop gang shootings with smuggled guns in Toronto. And don't forget that airsoft will now be a dead sport because of this new bill.

As of this morning, pretty much everywhere is sold out of handguns and mags as people are stocking up. Congrats Justin, you're the best gun salesman in Canada for the second time in two years.
