    Standard 35 hour work week?

    What is that?
Yea, I thought a standard Government work week was only 20 hours?

    3B a year across 531,062 houses = $5649 per household per year

    Seems reasonable

I spoke to a guy who was an 'Engineer' in one of these climate change positions. Said his days consist of things like... making business cases to present to groups, and having those groups say they don't have the capital to implement them. Ie. converting all city buses into electric.

Said he doesn't have to work too hard but unsurprisingly, not the most fulfilling work.

Businesses care about tax credits. If that helps the environment, so be it.

You've basically described almost all of the climate change reports, relating to infrastructure, ever produced. I have seen a few doosies in my time.

There's some interesting reading in the 2022 ExxonMobil investor day presentation about the size of the market for carbon capture projects. They are extremely bullish on that front.

Edmonton's e-bus program was a total failure, so it'll be good for Calgary to spend the money for a guaranteed result.

With current incentives in place in the US there are lots of great projects. Their process to get a class 6 well for injection is holding back an huge amount of projects that could be green lit.

Yea I mean, if you buy stuff from a company that goes bankrupt, and you need more from them, you're in one. It's too bad we couldn't see how simply performed over a longer period of time.

Toronto also ditched e-bus. EV sux for hauling and be on the road as often as possible, especially winter.

Can't wait for Enmax to blow money on a new fleet of EV bucket trucks.

All the bonuses paid out to these clowns will allow them to buy big houses and plant big trees. Trees good.

The biggest problem facing the climate is people; we need to have less of them. The same problem/solution applies to Deerfoot.

We tried it. Not enough people kick the bucket and everything cost 30% more.

Sadly diseases that are truly deadly can't become pandemics.
