The city is an excellent employer. Work life balance is the first thing mentioned in that posting. Makes the $/hr better than it appears too, since there's at least 13% fewer hours than private industry.

It’s funny that you think you are eligible for consideration if you are a man.

The pay for many city jobs is excellent and no worse than comparable private sector options.

So let me figure out this statement in the job posting "Coordinate and work directly with local energy utility companies to support The City’s long-term carbon reduction strategies." The only local energy utility is Enmax of course, which main source of power production is from their natural gas fired power plants. How does one think they can reduce their carbon other than shutting them down.

So the job description is a city employee who mansplains the climate emergency to Enmax?

That actually sounds like a great job for someone who's handy with PowerPoints and meeting minutes. Imma apply right away.

90-130k, full benefits and the job site quotes full time, translates to poor pay and part time to you? Weird.

Trick question. The city considers a bike to be a personal vehicle
