“You need to pay scope II carbon tax on all the carbon that leaf could have otherwise absorbed”

    Spookily accurate imo

Next up “Joe Biden yells at leaf industry for prices going up”. “Come-on!”

How many of these places do you think will shut down? No one is going to be paying $17 for a Freshii bowl or $20 an entrée for vermicelli and what is probably a smaller portion of meat isn't going to go over too well.

I love eating out, but it's getting to the point where half the time you're thinking "I really just paid $xx for this" for half the meal
I think it's a real reality soon. I mean why do most go to fast food? Because of laziness or you left your hunger too long.
    But money always factors in.

Yes, he will. That was part of the thing with the NDP, they will allow it.

    Nov 2025.

But just for shits and giggles, what do you mean anyway? His own party will oust him?

Unless he runs in the next election the Liberals would be dumb to let him stay until the end then run a brand new candidate for PM. Either he steps down so a new face can gain recognition or he tries running for another election. That's typically how it works.

Fun fact in the last 80+ years Alberta has only changed Premiers via election 3 times. Lougheed, Notley, and Kenney. Every other time it was one stepping down to appoint the next prior to an election and then them retaining power.

I'm fairly confident in saying Trudeau's ego far exceeds any of those premieres, and he will not step down.

It has nothing to do with the NDP.

Yes, his own party will force him to leave. Their ludicrous economic policies are destroying livelihoods and it's going to take years to crawl out of this mess.

This is on the assumption that the Liberals as a whole don't support Trudeau.

Speaking of inflating prices... Looks like all that QE and stimulus that never stopped since 2008 did a bang up job.

I don’t believe he’ll be displaced. We have 3+ years left.

This government, along with the US government will go the way of Jimmy Carter in 81.

This seems like a pretty easy cost increase to avoid
