Default Dog owners don’t think cats should be allowed in parks

    https://dailyhive.com/calgary/dog-cats-off-leash-parks

Some dogs are afraid of cats and don’t need them in their puppy safe space while some dogs love cats but don’t know how to show that in gentle ways.

Some dog owners also think children should not be at parks that are also off leash parks.

That is a special form of autism

Sounds like the city has made it illegal for animals that are not dogs to be in those off leash parks. The city is in the pocket of the doggie special interest groups. Who will join me in my class action lawsuit.

You're trying to make fun of how reasonable dog owners are. The same people that think having a stinky hairy retard around for 10 years so you can pick up its shit (while I am laughing and pointing at your beta-ness) is a good idea.

I can understand why there shouldn't be kids or cats at an off leash dog park. Some dogs are reactive to quick movements of little kids if they don't know them and if they aren't around cats then it could cause similar issues.
Off leash dog parks aren't meant for dogs so it should stay that way imo

There is an off leash dog park near my home that was getting really run down and shitty. The neighborhood association convinced the city to remove the fence along one side. That's chased the poorly trained dogs and lazy owners away. The remaining dogs are lovely and well behaved.

Fenced off leash parks encourage the wrong behaviours.

Iv'e said it before and I'll say it again: dogs are disgusting in the same way that smoking is disgusting, and I think eventually people will start to feel social pressure to not do disgusting things.

This is why I bought and live in my own "park"... Now I don't have to deal with other peoples kids, cats or dogs. Nobody got time for that shit!

Off leash dog parks aren’t necessarily special areas cordoned off for dog use unfortunately. An off leash dog park can be any park with a bike path running through it, surrounded by residents that the city has declared an off leash area.

If a dog is reactive to little kids, it should be on a leash or, as required by the city bylaw, in control at all times…..

If a dog is reactive to little kids it should be shot right after its owner.

Just went to a neighborhood block party where it was all folks who had kids. Yup, I'll be a happy dog owner for now.

I'll be a miserable fuck later.

I actually got slightly bullied for not having kids lol. Some mom purposely pointed to each house saying how many kids each house had and then asked why we moved here. Right, so everyone who buys a home already has to have a kid...

I wonder why I hate people sometimes?

    100%.

I was going to write more. But honestly this isn’t a complex issue. It’s a very simple one.
