I actually got slightly bullied for not having kids lol. Some mom purposely pointed to each house saying how many kids each house had and then asked why we moved here. Right, so everyone who buys a home already has to have a kid...

I can understand why there shouldn't be kids or cats at an off leash dog park. Some dogs are reactive to quick movements of little kids if they don't know them and if they aren't around cats then it could cause similar issues.
Off leash dog parks aren't meant for dogs so it should stay that way imo

If someone has a skittish fuck up of a dog that can randomly go biting kids or attacking other dogs because it got "spooked". If you don't have the decency to put it down, then at the very least don't bring it to the off leash park.

Completely disagree on this.

As an example stupid owners will get a border collie who are great dogs but have a natural instinct to herd. The dogs will naturally at times try to herd and nip the heels of the kid because its their job.

This is no fault of the dog nor should the dog be punished for this. They are also not being aggressive but because of the nipping too many people see it as such.

Be a proper dog owner and train and exercise them and the issue goes away.

But the biggest problem of all... stupid pet owners who don't educate themselves on breeds.

I don’t think I’ll ever comprehend people who think that under any circumstances dogs (or any animals) should be held at the same level or above humans.

I remember as a child, I was at someone’s acreage and some of the kids (3-5) were playing with the dog. The dog suddenly swung around and started biting one of the kids on the head. The owner was near by, ran over and put the dog in a head lock and started feeding it shots until it let go of the kid. Then he grabbed it by the collar and tail, threw it in the back of his pickup truck, drove behind the barn and shot it.
