Ride On Toy Repair in Calgary

Need some help from Beyond.. Is there anyone in town that repairs 12v ride on toys? I found a couple places by googling but they only provide services for power wheel brand, I can't remember what brand my son's car is but it's not power wheels. Just this year it stopped working. I charged it and it powered on and all the accessories work but when he presses the pedal nothing happens. Neither forward or back. Any suggestions for a local repair shop/person?

I haven't done any trouble shooting myself at all, likely won't get around to it for a while if I try to tackle it

Not sure. Most people diagnose themselves.

Could try a lawnmower repair shop if they're fixing Emowers now.

Its probably worth trying first. Might be a loose wire, or something silly. If I were to guess, I would say the pedal switch is disconnected or broken. Likely a cheap and quick fix.

Cool maybe I'll give it a shot myself in the next week or two and see if I can figure it out

If the pedal comes off and can access the wires, put the two together to bypass the pedal.
Motor should go and you'll know the issue.

If not, hardest part is figuring out wire routing and taking the damn thing apart.

I mean if it's a simple brushed motor, the first thing I'd be checking is the motor. I see it happen on rc cars all the time, and often spraying the motor brushes with contact cleaner and spinning them by hand a bit is all they need to start working again.
