Any breakfast that includes alcohol and eggs is a decent one.

Probably worth noting that Calgary’s restaurant scene is pretty decent if they aren’t from a big metropolitan area.

Feed then some raw fish or chicken feet?

Is Sukiyaki House still considered good?

Went there for lunch recently and ordered a whole whack of stuff and the only thing decent was the rock shrimp appy. The sushi itself was average. Nothing to rave about at all. Way better Japanese restaurants elsewhere.

Maybe it is a white people comfort thing like Globefish was/is?

We will there for the first time in March, and were completely unimpressed considering the hype. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great.

Yeah my same sentiments for present day so thanks for sharing your experience. They used to be good. Like many many many years ago.

I still think Sukiyaki is the best sushi downtown, but the service is fairly lacking.

Take ‘em to you and me after 2am
