You can't just flash the ECU on the 9th gen k series, you need hondata flashpro piggyback hardware
https://rctscanada.com/services - this guy is the authorised dealer on the hondata website, don't know anything about him though
you could also buy a used one and have it coded to your car
Yea , i will need a flashpro to turn off the misfire thing.
is he the only one?
The only one that shows up as an authorised dealer on the website
You used to be able to buy from Hondata directly, assume that's still the case

I got quite handy with K-Pro back in the day, but I've no idea if Flashpro is the same or different to use
I think each gen of civic has different flashpro?
Flashpro is just plug and play. I can turn off my own codes using a laptop and the flashpro. It's just a USB to OBD2 adapter, that doubles as the license, so you need to buy one to use it, you can't use someone elses.
I bought mine out of Ontario a few years back, I can't remember which company, and if you really need someone else to do it for you, Blackbird Tuning in Calgary can do it for you (but you still need to provide the flashpro)

MIL doubling as a shift indicator light? I liked that optionThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Blackbird doesn't do it
Blackbird did honda tuning via flashpro, the last time I talked to them. I just had to buy the flashpro from somewhere else.

Any tuner should really be able to get a map on a Hondata unit, the mapping tables are all very similar across the different brands since in the end, all ICE cars are doing the same thing
