Question is, how do we intervene? Riots in the streets over meat prices?

I'm a little surprised the USA has not decided to break out the 1.4 billion pounds of cheese they've stored up.

    Latest studies out confirm.

35% of commodity price is due to speculation.
25 to 40% of current inflation is due to price gouging.

Canola oil is on an absolute tear. Never thought it was possible to get above $3/litre.

I don't think there is a legitimate reason for it to be that high, other the Galen Weston factors.
