Default Email server issues? IT Nerds chime in

Have been doing some consulting with a small start-up company, and I got my email account with them this week. Tested it with an email to my wife's gmail address, she received it and replied and there were no issues.

Sent an email to two people at a large multinational corporation, and it got rejected. Specifically, "Remote server returned '550 5.7.708 service unavailable. Access denied, traffic not accepted from this IP"

This email is ( I think) set up through office365.

I'm not the IT guy, but I'd like to help point them in the right direction if I can, because something is fucked.

what I meant to say is that this company is so small that we don't have in-house IT, and if it's something we can fix without paying someone hourly, that's better.

That's fair. Google will help, and when you google, add the word forum on the end of your search, i find it really helps!

5.7.708 Access denied, traffic not accepted from this IP: This error occurs when sending email from known, low reputation IP addresses that are typically used by new customers.

it's not on o365, nobody would have them on the block list, it's likely shared hosting, i have the same prob with my personal email hosts.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

Make sure DMARC and DKIM are setup and then test them.
