So in our rental property the tenant had a BBQ too close to the vinyl siding and some is warped. Anybody have any recommendations for siding companies?
One would think - keep hot thing away from plastic thing. But what do I know

I've had a few friends looking for siding companies for small repair jobs about that size this year and they haven't been able to find anyone at all to come out "for such a small job". Most companies are so strapped with fixing houses in the NE and new builds that they won't take time away from that for small repair jobs. You might be better off looking for a reputable handy man company (that can issue receipts) for something like that.

Small jobs are not attractive for exterior contractors. Yep you will have a hard time finding one. Might be faster and less work to do it yourself, not joking.
Or just don't fix it. Doesn't look like a functional problem.
It's not too hard of a DIY. Looks very similar to our house, the gas pressure washer exhaust was too close. Monarch found the exact replacement, but 20 years of hot sun has faded the original, so it'll be noticeable for a while.
It's a rental, you can go full harlequin on it.
Honestly that's a super simple repair. Pick up a couple 12' lengths of siding and do it yourself. Same thing happened at my house within weeks after moving in, like 15 years ago. I don't even think we had sod yet.
I'd like to blame someone else but it was all me. Grill too close. The grill was actually far enough away, but when I left the lid open for the grill to cool down, that brought the hot lid too close to the siding. Rookie mistake. Anyway, I drove somewhere in the south, can't remember the name, but it was the supplier of my house siding and since we'd been there less than a year I was able to match the siding perfectly. The drive from the NW to the SE took longer than the repair. And I had some window trim to do too.
Problem
Solved
Its a really simple repair to DIY. This vid shows exactly how I did it. The hard part is finding siding that matches the faded original.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll look into doing it myself and hope to be able to at least match the type

Contact Gutter Doctor. The guy that fixed mine knew the exact brand immediately.

Yah that's a pretty simple repair job, 15 min at most really. Hell it's so simple if you had the parts I could come out and do it for you for free. Unfortunately your j channel is also warped and that's a bit more work to replace.
I did my parents entire rear of the house last year

Great job on the siding!
