Default Best bang for the buck realtor camera setup?

I'm not a realtor, but the work I'd like to photograph is similar. Indoor/outdoor pictures of construction on homes. Mostly wide angle shots.

I used to have a Canon dslr quite a few years ago, so I'd be comfortable in relearning that type of setup.

    Thanks for the recommendations!

I'm using an S21 Ultra right now, it seems pretty decent. But I'm assuming a dedicated camera will make a noticeable difference?

I’d say no on a bang for buck metric. Especially if you have sufficient lighting available.

There's a lot of very good "compact mirrorless" cameras around. I don't have a specific one to reccomend, but choose a budget and start reading reviews.

The big SLR size is not required for what you describe.

If you're doing Matterports / similar, Insta360 One X is one of the better budget options, with spectacular workflow for Matterport specifically (I've tried multiple)

An update on a pretty affordable change I made to improve my photos. I subscribed to Lightroom, downloaded the app on my S21 Ultra, downloaded the software on PC. Now all the photos I want to share I upload to the cloud via Lightroom on my phone. Make my photo edits on PC and export from lightroom the appropriate size for facebook, instagram, website etc. Pretty simple and cheap route that made a big difference in quality and workflow.

I suspect if I learn how to make the most out of my phone's camera capability I can tweak things to be a little bit better.

Glad to hear it worked out.

    Shame for Canon’s stock price

There are some decent “real estate” Lightroom presets out there too that make a good difference in shots while being easy to apply in bulk

You’re going down the right path. You can have the most expensive camera, but the real photo quality is from the person behind the lens, and the person in front of post processing.

Lots of us here that can help you learn. Post photos, before and after, what you’ve done, and let the photogs critique away. Best way to learn. Realtor photos are a different breed, people love exaggerated post processing.

So I'm still looking to upgrade from a camera phone. I'm thinking I could benefit from some wide angle HDR for my work and just in general better hand held wide angle shots.

After some research I am considering this camera set-up, please critique away or feel free to offer better solutions.

Save your sales profits for a golf membership not a new camera.
