Both of the studies that kert posted basically started with a premise of "inequity". It's very on-brand.
The data you want is in the studies. Number of ER visits,, proportion of visits, proportion of ER visits via ambulance. Hell, it’s even broken down by gender to trigger you some more.

You want data, why are you getting hung up on premise and discussion that are unrelated to the data you want?

Or is it like a dog chasing a car. You know you want the data, but you don’t know what you’ll do with it when it’s there for you to interpret for yourself?

The part where is says the % of ER visits by ambulance for FN people and the % of ER visits by ambulance for non-FN people.

I'm addressing your claim that my question was answered - it was not. Although it does bring up another question: is there a strong correlation between reading comprehension and segregationist thinking?

“An insignificant number” is how TurboMedic’s anecdotal data answered it.

And now you have ambulance calls that result in an ER visit province wide.

You seem unhappy with the results. They don’t line up with your preconceived notions or what?

I was asking the question because I was genuinely interested in the answer. I realize it's a novel concept for you.

As you can tell, I am not easily satisfied by "anecdotal data".

If we were making business decisions for EMS the smart business choice would be to prioritize two things: overdoses and FN calls.

Overdoses have quicker turnover and are relatively easy to treat. Low resources and allows higher number of calls means more efficient outcomes.

FN calls are paid for by Health Canada. High payment compliance and doesn’t drain provincial healthcare spending, basically making each call an additional transfer payment.

Yet the supposed business minds here want to do the opposite. Why?
Oh weird. Kert doesn't understand business. I'm sure everyone will be shocked by this.

I thought that's how all studies work? Write the conclusion first, then go find supporting data.

Transplant patients get prioritized based on outcomes because supply is so short. When the data showed that Covid-infected transplant patients had a higher mortality rate, it’s an easy prioritization to make. How else would you want the decision to be made?
I would like the decision to be made with all the data in mind, and not half a story. So if a vaccinated patient does not have a better outcome expectancy than a non-vaccinated patient, there is no reason to prioritize either.

Kert thinks Federal money is magical money that comes from space.

If there’s an unvaccinated patient and a vaccinated patient, and an organ comes in that matches the unvaccinated patient but not the vaccinated one, the prioritization obviously goes to the unvaccinated patient because they’d have the better outcome. When other factors are considered and weighted, if you’re unvaccinated against Covid your outcomes are worse than if you’re not and will be bumped down the list. Its the same conclusions hospitals specializing in transplants around the world have all come to. 2020 and the first half of 2021 gave pretty good data on how Covid affected immunocompromised transplant recipients.

Similarly if you have the Covid vaccine but refused to get any of these other vaccines: MMR, dTAP, polio, Hib, Varicella, Herpes-Zoster, pneumococcal and Hep B, you will also have you put lower on the prioritization list than another similar patient with them. If you’re between 18-25 or considered high risk there’s a few more as well (HPV, meningitis, Hep-A). But vaccination status is only a part of how the prioritization process works. If you think it’s even half the story I’m not sure what you thought goes into prioritizing transplant patients in the first place.
