Default Can you sue someone that has filed for consumer proposal?

In a situation where someone i know has cosigned for someone. Doesnt really make sense since creditors are still trying to get ahold of the primary who filed for consumer proposal. I know if you file, you're safe from creditors but is he safe from us? Any info would be appreciated.

    Sincerely and sexually,

If you win, I don't know where in the order of priority your money would fall vs other debts owed. My guess is that you are unlikely to recover the money awarded.
