Default Audi Adaptive Headlight Defective? Anyone have a V.A.G. Scanner?

Yes I had to make sure you all knew that V.A.G. is an acronym... I dont want PenIs running with this one!

As murphys law would have it, a mere week before going to sell my Q5 to get a bigger SUV, this error pops up on my vehicle. I need to take a look tonight to see if a bulb is simply burnt out, or if the motors themselves are cooked.

Does anyone have a scanner I can plug in and check this out? Won't have any VAG cars after I sell this so i'd rather not buy one.

Even better - anyone ever dealt with this on their VW / Audi?

    TIA

Had this problem on my Golf, it was just a burnt out cornering bulb which is a common thing. Once the bulb was replaced error went away.

You're all dead to me except buh buh

Mike at Alpine Autowerks helped me out so much thanks to him - Lights worked fine and code needed to be cleared, he suggested the wires may have been jarred and in the future a few hours of labout to tear down the lights, clean wires and check connections may be needed.

Mods can close! Thanks Mike @ Alpine Autowerks!
