Wellingtons is legit. The proprietor passed away earlier in the year and I haven't been since to see if they've stayed on their game. Anyone been lately?

    .
Who was it that passed away? Tom? I think there were a few partners involved...

Edit: Damn, searched his name and the obit came up. I knew he had been battling cancer for quite some time, but didnt know he passed. I was close with one of his daughters in University.

Final note, I don’t want to do DW till the kids get older, but vip might change that. There’s no walking. You ride in carts with the hosts. I guess shits about to get expensive.

Yes. You’re paying them 600 per hour per host to eat. Food things see above. Doubt they’ll get Starbucks priority.

Anyways not sure if it’s overpay anymore. I felt like it was worth the money.
If thats true about getting to ride in carts all over at DW then yeah were doing that one day, that would add a whole other level lol

Fucking crazy you dropped 1200 for the CM time at lunch and thats not including tips or meals lol

Definitely not over pay anymore, we did the pleb version and it was still fun but hectic with the genie and food but we also went there in march this year so it wasnt the end of the world if we missed stuff.

I forget the name of the starwars ride where you are in that attack thing but i was responsible for the steering left/right and i was starting to get sick near the end so i didnt care anymore. My buddy on the right who was in charge of up and down kept yelling to me left and right lol

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

600/hour. 7 hours. $4200 for 10 people. We had more than 10 so paid for 2 ($8400). Then you have to tip them, but we’ll save that for the other thread.

Logistics is difficult with a big group because of frequent bathroom breaks, and ride preference. We just mixed rides instead of split because in the end there were only 5 thrill riders, which was surprising. Guess we’re all getting too old for this shit.
That’s so worth it. Niiice boss.

Better edit that. I vaguely recall one of the simpletons on my Ignore List used to say "tiny hands" like it was some kind of insult.
I'd hate for you to have to go through that!

hahaha, they offered and alignment before i told them the tires would be loose. i wont lie i didn't shop around, quick, easy, charging it to my company

Do people really think they need alignments when they get their tires changed? Surely they dont fall for this.........?

I’d say enough people must fall for it… but I have a (female) coworker who knew better… but not well enough to not agree to $240 to mount and balance… 2? Wheels… unclear on the number, but they only did 2 then asked about the other two, citing that they needed two licensed techs to mount them… because low pro (235/35/18) (not even at kal-tire)

I’ve never had an alignment done on my vehicles in my life.

But I also don’t drift into curbs

I align all my new cars to dial in the feel off the handling. Mostly go way off spec and remove all toe. Realignment when it feels off. Most cars can handle potholes here and there, but not my Lexus. That RCF needed a realignment once a year.

Well, no receipt, but paid ~$75usd for these babies at Costco on Saturday. USDA prime rib eye, each steak was maybe 16-18oz. Much better than what we get here, imo… but they should be for that price.

Other items of note were a $7.20usd head of romaine, $6.99usd gallon of milk and $7.77/gal 87 octane gas.

Hawaii. It was never for poor people, but it’s gotten even more pricey in the last couple years (…obvi, I guess).

Also forgot to mention the 242g bag of cheetos that was $6.50usd haha.
