Default ENMAX - higher bills anyone?

I just got my Enmax bill for the billing end date of August 15th and its just as high as when we had those large Enmax bills in the winter months.

I don't have AC and my heat hasn't been on at all - anyone else experience higher bills?

No, because I'm on fixed rate, so not paying the current 17c/kWh that floating is.

What is your rate? Been a long while since I looked at my rate, don't even remember if I'm on fixed or variable.

I read somewhere that Enmax bumped up their fees in some areas..maybe that's the reason?

People who are confused about higher bills should start by reading those bills. You'll quickly learn if it's fees, rates or usage that changed.

    This.
My Enmax bill was $228 with AC pretty much pumping all month.

Just added a hot tub to the circuit so I expect ~$250 next month.

Don’t be crazy. Just agree with them, and support their need for positive affirmation.

It’s called a praise kink. I learned about that recently.

Enmax will be low the next few months because everyone gets a 50$ credit.

I started this when the cheap ass buyers for my Aspen house wanted a break down of utility costs.

I kept it going as it only takes 2 minutes every month.

Seems odd to me that the Government gives a hand out to even those who are on a contract. I can understand if you were on RRO.

But hey, this is just a different way to get ralph bucks.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
