    Look for recommendations for handypeople. Simple plumbing/painting on ladders/fixing stuff that I can't get to.

    Hopefully it's not a woman, they're not very handy. I'd rather handy myself or have another man be handy.

    TaskRabbit would be good for odd jobs. Most have a 2 hour min. so ~$100 total

    There's one called Fixter also, not sure if it's in the Calgary market or not.
