Yup I am the builder on this one. For the big ridiculous projects usually about 2 or 3 at a time, I personally have 2 hoists to use and can use other hoists if needed. (Shop has 11 total)
    Cool. Pretty big shop.

Fabricated some engine mounts and we didn't have any black paint on hand, but we did have some orange.

Began intake manifold fabrication and then my welder decided it's had enough. Last good weld it gave me was on this 1/2" thick throttle body flange. Might have pushed it too far. Cut all the runners to length for the top of the plenum. Waiting on a new welder so I can finish that up.

Up next was the clutch and trans. Installing a McLeod RXT twin disk to hold all the torks.

Installed the trans and the factory Boss mount and crossmember worked. The shifter unfortunately did not, ordered in a GT350 shifter to match the trans and it fits the car in the correct location.

What drilling company does this guy work for?

All jokes aside, this build looks nuts. Thanks for posting and will be following! I remember when these boss302's came out how badly I wanted one.
    Hahahaha my exact thoughts.

Awesome build. Can't wait to see the end result!

Hotside and downpipes built and then removed for ceramic coating. Utilized the stock manifolds as a starting point since they are stainless.

Built a cooler stack with a radiator, AC condenser, and intercooler. Modified the radiator crossmember to make room for the intercooler. Welded elbows directly to the intercooler outlet to sneak it around the radiator.

    This is really awesome.

Hopefully the car sticks to the Boss 302 approach and is set up to go around corners, and not for the drag strip.
@Sentry what does a build like this cost the customer? Not looking for a quote, just interested to see if it's closer to $20k or $40k.

Thr throttle has to be ever so slightly off center to leave room for the water neck/rad hose

Labour alone will come in around $30k

Coldside charge pipe finished and twin BOVs welded on. The engine is now also sporting some Holley fuel rails and Ford 80lb injectors.

    @Sentry You're a beast.

    Great job.

Whats the point in keeping cornering? The second you tap the throttle in this monster your gonna lose traction haha

Because driving fast in a straight line gets old, and is lame.

Besides, it's a mustang; regardless of what you're trying to do, when you tap the throttle it'll spin into a crowd.

I’d take 5 Gs of acceleration over 1.264 Gs of cornering on a track any day.
