I just can't wait for our entire world to completely change once Kenney is gone. Better weather, no inflation, reduced taxes, bigger Church gatherings so I can more closely follow tHe sCiPtUrEs along the path of our blessed Christ, and no more faggots trying to recruit my kids. God damn those dirty dirty faggots straight to the centre of Hell!
Oh, and maybe no more immigrants, too. Well, maybe just the brown & yellow ones.
It was definitely Kenney who brought all these Brown faggots here, constantly trying to convert my kids to sodomy and Allah while only letting a few hundred of my fellow parishioners worship our snow-white Christ.

Kenney elected Gondak while making oil plummet while blocking the pipelines while re-electing Trudeau while not spreading CoVid fast enough while allowing Stampede while not banning the vaccine while not uNCeDeDing enough land. Or something.
Hitler > Putin > Stalin > James Cameron > Jason Kenney.

There's lots to dislike with each of the frontrunner candidates. I'm sure we coukd find five objectionable things about each.
theres only one front runner and only one person people are constantly discussing. Who are the other candidates that we can shit on their ideas? Oh that's right.... their no where to be seen.

Alberta's main problem -and it ain't close- is Confederation.

Smith is the only one taking about it in any way that resonates.

If you haven't consulted a good Naturopath and are afflicted with X ailment you're being silly.

Naturopath's are a great compliment to western medicine.
I'm sure it's like anything else. The good ones are good, and then there is a bunch of granola whackos that don't believe in any sort of pharmacological intervention.

I said covid, the actual condition, not the restrictions. She was a believer in hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.

I'm not telling you who to vote for, I was just answering Busters question.
If acknowledging science makes you a nut-job, I guess there is bigger hurdles to worry about than who the leader of the UCP is.

Pretty much ensures Notley will receive another term as premier.

Man if I didn’t know better I’d say 80% of news headlines these days ensure Notley as the next premier.

It was an edgy sound bite 2 years ago. But the whole “*insert statement here* ensures Notley as the next premier” is massively played out by now.

And has almost no basis in fact or truth.

The two B-plots unfolding that are about as predictable as anything when it comes to Smith is that she needs a rural MLA to step down to run in their riding because it’s unlikely she could win the vacant Calgary-Elbow seat despite it being Ralph Klein’s old riding . And that there’s already the religious groups demanding clarity that her medical freedom policy would only apply to things like vaccines and what the Stephan’s did to their son and not things like abortion, and gender reassignments, and Smith isn’t doing so.

The only path to a loss is to lose Calgary. Why are they trying so hard to do it?

You have articulated the problem with the pathetic squabbling on the right in general.

People are upset about Trudeau, economics, federal over-reach.

But then when the chips are down all you hear about are silly secondary topics: "mah guns!", "abortion!", "mah genders!".

Conservative party politics are dominated by the God, Guns, and Gays crowd, it’s not really surprising.

Smith was launched to the forefront by them, it’s only natural they come up again. The Reform Party federally and Wildrose provincially saw conservatives cede the narrative to the social right and have been whining about people bringing up their favourite topics ever since.

Canada is also full of a bunch of progressives who worry about guns and shit. And then they vote against their own economic best interest because they think they are virtuous.

    Conclusion: Canadians are retarded.

Wanting stronger provinces and complaining about lack of export capacity development is one of those retarded stances Canadians take. Strong provinces is what gets in the way of it and will ensure it stays in the way of it.

The Is federal government was great at wielding away state power to get stuff done. Up here the feds lost that fight and here we are.

Stronger provinces and export capacity aren't mutually exclusive.

If Canadian's weren't so dumb they would realize export capacity and energy security ENHANCES the strength of their province.

    But again, Canadians R dum.

    .
They are when all it takes is one province that doesn’t want it for whatever reason they choose

It takes a whole lot less than a province the way we have bastardized our constitution and approval processes.

Canada is a broken structure that is beyond repair.

It all accomplishes the end goal of minimizing what the federal government can do, which is what people want, isn’t it?
