Yea, instead we should just give billions to CPP which pays for other provinces CPP payments. Derp.

Do we need to add an emoji for [does not equal]? Because this =/= is chewing into everyone's chargeable time!

My vastly superior Android phone has it available as this:

but I'm not sure if that ends up being visible to everyone.

If one person can raise more money than the entire ucp party id say it's a good idea to get behind that candidate.

I wouldn't get too far ahead of myself. We have to keep in mind all of these leaders actually suck, and Smith is the best simply because of her ideas. Her actions over the course of politics have been a mixed bag.

To be extremely clear, Smith is our Trump. It'll probably be whoever comes after her that makes real change. In the chattering classes speak, we are going to get her to push the Overton window on acceptable politics in Canada as far as possible towards decentralization, liberty of people, and provincial autonomy.

I would prefer that the potential candidates try as hard as possible to become leader, and then only after it's clear who is going to become leader that the mutual dick sucking to get everybody together starts.

No idea if any of the legal takes are valid, but interesting if they are.

This is an older article, but rumors out there of Trudeau considering a windfall profit tax on oil and gas companies.

One can only pray that he tries it, will single handedly be the biggest boost for Alberta Separation, and since Smith will likely be at the helm, will be able to capitalize on the sentiment.

The Feds trying to bring in an O+G windfall tax would be amazing news.

Because energy is correlated to happiness.

If people are happy they don’t need government.

Energy revenues make their opposition's base more powerful.

The Liberals know that a less wealthy Canadian population (especially in the west), favours their political prospects.

theres a few reports that shandro and Jason Kenney have asked the rcmp in alberta not to partake in the federal govts gun buy back program.

Interesting how outspoken Kenney was against the sovereignty act but he's now asking our rcmp to ignore a federal law. Isn't that what the sovereignty act is being designed for that he's against?
