Looking for designer to review our plans for new kitchen. I think some cabinet shops do design consults, anyone used this type of service, can recommend a company?

Do you have actual drawings and measurements done? Or looking for someone to do this for you?
I could recommend the interior designer we're using at the moment for our kitchen reno, but if you're already passed design and looking for someone on the cabinetry side, I'm not there yet haha.
We have rough plan for kitchen layout, dictated by required space on second floor, and looks like this. Just looking for a design professional to review and make suggestions with a few constraints in mind.

You might not have fun with the rather large triangle with the fridge on the complete opposite end of the sink.
Quick and dirty of what I would do:
1. Move the fridge to the coffee bar location.
2. Move the cook top to the island or closer to the sink if you don't want your hood fan coming down from the ceiling.
3. Put the coffee bar in the pantry and push the walls out to 6 or 7 x 8.5'. Then put a sink in the pantry and RO to feed the bar.
4. move the oven closer to the main part of the kitchen.

Sink in the pantry seems silly for that layout and sized setup. Adds a lot more cost /w the sewer hookups depending whats below the kitchen. I also don't think a fridge where the coffee bar was makes sense, then you're blocking off a lot of sightlines there due to the full sized appliance. A countertop and/or coffee bar can be open on the end of the countertop and make the roof feel more open.
My thoughts would be:
- I really don't like the fridge being out in the open there and blocking part of the hallway, you're going to get so annoyed every time you walk there and around into the pantry.
- Put the fridge in the old oven location.
- Shift the oven over to beside the fridge as built into a cabinet with storage above and below.
- Centre the cooktop with the island because OCD.
- Then either do the sink in the original place or I'd rather put it in the island if possible. And keep the area under the bay window as open counterspace to prep cooking in the nice light.

That better be a bitching nice fridge since you have put it out in the entertaining area.
Just suggesting it based on my experience. See where the air-fryer and rice cooker are under the window? This weekend's job is to move the "coffee bar" from out front to the back pantry cause it will work better for us. Sink in the pantry was an extra $250 for the drain and waterlines. Totally worth it.

Shit my pantry has like three square feet of floor space. #dontbepoor
+1 for an extra sink in the pantry and I'd go one step further and consider putting (or adding another) dishwasher in there too... We had that in our last house and was just at friends who have it and it reminded me how great it is... Makes cleanup nice if you're hosting lots of people to dump everything out of sight.
Nice pantry. Good size based on size of bananas.
If there's functioning appliances in the pantry, it's not a pantry.
Visible snacks makes it a pantry
Not a professional, but agree that the fridge is in a terrible orphaned location.
Are you planning on having seating around the island? This is an awkward configuration for it. I'd move the fridge somewhere on the outside wall, turn the island sideways, widen it, put seating on the dining room side of it, and relocate the sink+DW to it opposite the cooktop.

Turning island and having seating sounds good, it was supposed to be a breakfast bar idea, but it got missed on the drawing. The fridge was moved from being where coffee bar is now shown, as didn't want to block the sink/window off from the rest of the room (as was noted above). Island was supposed to show a prep sink. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Don't want range on the island to avoid the hood in middle of room.
Oven is a double wall oven (will indicate this on next plan rev).
Wife wants a pair of single door fridges, we never use the freezer in the fridge, and neve have enough fridge space...
Not sure where that can fit?

so leave the space where the firdge is currently shown blank, and put the fridge to the west of the wall oven. that would put the double fridge between the oven and range. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
maybe coffee bar could go where fridge was?
is that your fridge in the pic? if so how do you like it?

One builder we've talked to called it a "scullery", but that sounded too gay, so I stuck with pantry. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If you have the space, a pantry (/"scullery" / prep kitchen / spice kitchen) is great place to put as much of the 'less nice' parts and processes that are supposed to be in the kitchen... Like I said, if you entertain a lot, it's a great place to hide all that pre & after grossness so you're not stuck either staring at it out in the open or stressed about staying on top of cleanup.
Edit - it's nice to see pics of Beny's finished kitchen... The appliances tucked away caught my eye on the plans, but the finished product looks great!
Entertaining is overrated.
I would do it this way.
Wall oven beside DW
Fridge where wall oven originally was
Flip island
You could move sink to island as well for better balance .
Only concern on that, double wall oven is a ceiling height cabinet, wanted to avoid having a cabinet block the light/sight line from sink/window to dining area. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
