Imagine getting that thing sideways. I assume it drifts like a city bus.

I doubt he has to imagine. Long drift van is best.

Not bad for a $500 field car.
Finished third in the Great Beater Challenge.
And if weight is a plus in winter driving I have that in spades.
BTW I am the skipper here!
Just got a set of Michelin Cross Climates (yeah yeah I know.... better than the balding Continental all-seasons that were on there) so far they seem much better.
Ooh green caps. Baller! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I have the CC2 on my SUV and so far it has been surprising good for the first year. I didn't want to have 4 set of tires as I do have XIce for the Mini Van.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
For the van the all seasons are due soon and I am contemplating getting the CC2. The Cross Climates is good on the SUV but with the FWD I wonder if all weather tire is sufficient for Calgary winters.
Having both CC2s and Bridgestone WeatherReadys, the Bridgestone WeatherReadys are better.
Goodyear WeatherReady? Bridgestone is the WeatherPeak...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
245/40/18 Michelin Xi3 on the Golf, +35 offset. Rubs a bit when the suspension is under heavy load. Grip wise, A+++++. Fitment wise, I'm an idiot D-----
Xi3s on the van in the back as well in the proper size.

Drove this weekend on some dry roads and surprisingly i cant hear the studs at all unless im going 20kmhr or less and with the music completely off. The salesbro did say Nokian does something special with how the studs sit so maybe it wasnt a complete lie lol

Hung around UrbanX this morning to finally get the winters onto the wife's Odyssey. Winter can start now.
That explains why winter is over now

Update -
Got Nokian Hakka 10 Studded on my MDX
Things stops, starts, and handles like it's on rails. I take back any disparaging comments I said about studded, they are sweet
I’m glad you are still driving this thing, we had to give our GBC car back to the real owner despite trying to buy it off them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It’s kinda hilarious how big of a jump they are from normal winter tires on the bad days. As big of a jump, maybe even bigger compared to going from all season to winters. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
