Ordered wheels/tires from 1010tires but now really nervous. Their online site said these 17x6.5's fit my car but looking on forums people keep parroting that 17's don't clear the brakes except 1 person that posted a photo saying their random set fit just fine. Not sure if it's just clueless people repeating one persons issue or what. 1010 says they have a fit guarantee but past experiences with other companies 'guarantees' give me little faith and wondering if I should cancel my order.
Is this an Ioniq 5? If so I am not seeing any manufacturers I know and trust saying 17's are a guaranteed fit. They all list 18 as the minimum.

Thanks, ended up contacting them and they also confirmed they wouldn't actually fit so cancelled the whole order.

Have the same on AWD. Similar experience and they seem to last longer than X-ice or blizzaks.
Last 3 years is a bit weird with COVID tho. I drove about 30-40% less due to WFH. So current set is lasting longer than normal.

Looks like Blizzak are introducing a Hakka 10/X-Ice North competitor?

Damnit, Nokian dealer just said there are no more 255/45/19 Hakka 10 EV sets anywhere in the country but offered the SUV model. What’s different about EV tires? Better rolling resistance?

Yeah lower rolling resistance and maybe quieter is the main things. Though studded tires I doubt are quiet either way. Otherwise the load rating might be a tad higher but sorta irrelevant

Would like to see 3rd party testing results and other categories from this internal testing, but really impressive ice performance nonetheless.

    Footnotes:

*1 Tests carried out by TÜV SÜD on the request of Bridgestone in March 2022 at the facilities Bridgestone SPG (Sweden) and at ARCTIC FALLS (Sweden) for snow & ice tests, with VW Golf VII, on tyre size 205/55 R16. Blizzak Spike 3 compared to the performances of main competitors in the same segment: CONTINENTAL IceContact 3, MICHELIN X-Ice North 4, NOKIAN Hakkapeliitta 10, GOODYEAR UltraGrip Arctic 2. Report No. [713252341].

    BRAKING ON ICE, rating: BRIDGESTONE Blizzak Spike 3 (100%), NOKIAN Hakkapeliitta 10 (89,7%), MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 (89,1%), GOODYEAR UltraGrip Arctic 2 (78,4%), CONTINENTAL IceContact 3 (71,7%).

    ACCELERATION ON ICE, rating: BRIDGESTONE Blizzak Spike 3 (100%), MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 (100%), NOKIAN Hakkapeliitta 10 (76,7%), GOODYEAR UltraGrip Arctic 2 (71,6%), CONTINENTAL IceContact 3 (67,9%).

Not holding my breath that this makes it over to North America. Many of these types of tires dont end up coming here.

Everyone always tests the same stuff. I don't care about snow, or wet.

I want to see them tested at -25° on ice.

To be fair, the distribution/weighting of scores is available here:

    https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre-Tes...-Tyre-Test.htm

Still, if you put the snow category at 100%, the all season came in 7th while the Blizzack came in 5th?

The studless winter tires comparison is more relevant to most people looking for winter tires as they are the most common winter tires you will get quoted in Calgary.

I saw a guy driving around a new G wagon with studded tires on the weekend.

Definitely gave me a semi for the sheer DGAF performance that would enable.
