Looking to put up a zipline for the kids, but there is a dizzying amount of choices available.
Anyone have experience with any brands or vendors they'd recommend? Or ones to avoid?

I have been involved in buying and putting up two of the slackers ziplines. They work. Shop around, the same kits are sold multiple places.
The longer ones are a little harder to put up, because you need to keep some tension on it or you'll run out of room to tighten with the turnbuckle. Helps to have 2-3 people, but it's not complicated.
I put up this 90 foot one earlier this year.
I assume this would help tension it.

Or use a pulley and winch system to tension it up.
Most people I know diy it and just buy the bearing runner part from a decent source. Key is keep the bearings out of the weather if you can.
just use a ratchet strap to pre-tension it, 6 ft should be enough, but you can get like 20fters

Just to be clear to any who have not set one of these up before, the lots do include a turnbuckle to set the final tension. However, it has a limited range of movement, so it's helpful if the cable is sorta tight to start with. Lots of ways to accomplish that.
